A special place of remembrance

So many of us don't get the fun class room photos of our children, or the photo ops of first birthday and first tooth, but we do make a special place to remember them. For some people it is a memorial garden, for others a grave site. I have this area in my living room. My family jokingly refers to as my Baby Shrine. It really isn't a shrine, just a special place I can go to feel close to them. Special gifts I can buy for my babies.

This is my special place of remembrance. I love Willow Tree and Precious Moments figurines, you will see lots of those!

Here are some of Jordan's photos, his urn and a beautiful tiny blanket knitted for him by his special HER Auntie.

Jordan's Father's Day poem for Daddy. And drawings of Jesus with children.

A special place of remembrance

Jordan's one oufit that he wore while alive. You can also see a sample of his tiny diapers and the card sent to him from Suzanne with a balloon matching the one released in his name.

To the right in this photo, you can see the plaster molds of his tiny hand and foot. They are the most precious keepsakes I have. At any time I can hold his tiny fingers and stroke his hand.

Joshua's area. He has his taggies blanket with his name on it, a sweet bib that says "I Love My Big Brother"(Auntie Suzanne sent that to him right after we found out we were expecting him). There is a heart shaped bowl with two tiny stuffed animals in it (Thank you HP Auntie) it says "Prince" inside it. The tiny animals represent siblings.

Autumn's bib and tiny bracelet more gifts from Auntie Suzanne!

Jordan's angel doll was with him for his entire life, and the other was with me while Jordan was in the NICU. Beautiful holiday medalion a gift from Auntie Nicole.

Eeyore is holding "Forget me Not" seeds. Jordan's license plate with his name on it, perfect for the tricycle he is probably using in Heaven. His tiny hat and the blanket that he was snuggled in.

A gift from Auntie Suzanne for sweet Autumn Joy. Precious Moments are my favorite and this is my only pink thing!

This is the cabinet viewed from across the room. Above it are photos of our time with Jordan, the wall next to it has a Father's Day poem and a drawing of Jesus holding a tiny infant and a drawing of Jesus wrestling with two boys.

In front are our precious moments lawn babies. We had to move them inside after they were stolen and returned to us.

TEENAGE BOYS urgh.......

PROOF that it is IMPOSSIBLE to get three teenage boys to all look at the camera at the same time without making weird faces or hand gestures. Will I never again get a nice photo of my sons together????

Labor Day at the Dunsmuir Falls!

On Monday we were driving home from Oregon and decided on the spur of the moment to go see the Mossbrae Falls in Dunsmuir California (about 45 minutes from Redding).

Christopher refused to go on the one mile hike to the falls, so you will see in the photos many times when Ben and Zach have their arms up in the air, it is their plan to photoshop Christopher into our family photos! (this wouldn't be the first vacation we photoshopped him into!)
